This was from the other night in Vegas. Here's something a little crazy. My first gig with Chris Janson was on Freemont street in Vegas and so was my final gig. Kinda made a full circle. I had a blast playing music with Chris and the fellas in the band. Good people!!! But something tells me that wasn't our last gig. So just have to wait and see. Last night Kim and I got to go to a little shendig in whitesville for a surprise party for my very dear friend/musician Mark Shelton. Emily got him really good. It was wonderful to see them and play some tunes and to jam with Mike Smith, and a fiddle player that I hadn't seen in years David Morris. No set list just fun ole tunes with freestlyin playing. Ya know its fun when you stop playing the song and all of the pickers are laughing and grinning ear to ear. The next time won't come soon enough.
