When I was driving last night that's when I found out about B.B. passing away. As I was listening to Bluesville on the radio, it was solid B.B. I began thinking about the first time I heard him. My brother came over to dads body shop and he and I went somewhere in his camaro. He had a cassette playing and I asked who it was. The music that was coming out of those speakers was unreal. I had never felt a groove like that nor the feeling of the lyrics. I was around 10 years old. I can't remember if I had started playing steel yet at that time. I still have that cassette to this day. I am a HUGE B.B. King fan. I've listened to him since that first day and blues is my favorite genre to play. You can't fake the blues. It comes from your soul, PERIOD! I know he has touched millions of people through his career, and when Kim took me to see him live moment I will always treasure. I never had the honor to meet him but I feel that I were a friend of him musicially. You will be missed Mr King. RIP...
